    His birth name is Joseph Fidler Walsh. Joe's parents were Robert Newton Fidler and Helen Louise Moore.

    In 1975, after the breakup of his band Barnstorm and some successful solo projects, Joe Walsh joined the Eagles, replacing Bernie Leadon, and joining Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Don Felder and Randy Meisner (Timothy B Schmit joined later).
